After a morning in Tsukiji, Ginza, and Akihabara, we met up with more friends in the cooking supply district of Kappabashi.

We bought a bunch of fun bowls and other kitchen accessories. But my favorite purchase in Kappabashi was a Japanese style vegetable knife. I use it almost everyday now and love it!

For anyone who likes those realistic looking food models, this is your place!

After we finished exploring Kappabashi, the six of us went for lunch nearby. The restaurant was inside of an office type building, not somewhere we would’ve gone on our own.

But it was a great choice, the chef made fresh handmade soba while we waited!

To get to Kappabashi we took the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Tawaramachi Station. From there we walked west on the main road until we reached the big chef in the top photo. At that intersection we turned right and walked up and down the road stopping at all the little shops.
