Do you remember the night when we had that awesome dinner at our friend’s restaurant in Asakusa? On this morning, that restaurant owner took us shopping with him at Tsukiji Fish Market!

Of course there were lots of tuna being cut everywhere…

And because our friend knew many of the vendors, we were able to get a close look at many places.

Also interesting was watching them cut the rock hard frozen tunas…

Be careful when you are walking around Tsukiji Fish Market. Make sure you aren’t run over by those little trucks zipping back and forth!

Aside from tuna, there are tons of other delicious seafood to see as well!

Mmmm, ikura heaven!

We both love fishing and eating sushi and sashimi, so visiting Tsukiji Fish Market with our friend was such a treat for us!

To get to Tsukiji Fish Market we caught the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Subway Line to Tsukiji Station. We walked down Shin-Ohashi Dori towards the fish market passing the big honganji (temple) on our left side.
