Our first stop on our Chiba day trip was Nokogiriyama, or Mount Nokogiri. Our friends told us that the name of this mountain comes from the fact that it looks like the teeth of a Japanese saw, or nokogiri.
There was free parking down at the base, and after buying our tickets we were quickly headed up to the top of Nokogiriyama.
Prices for the ropeway were about 500 yen one way / 900 yen roundtrip, which I thought was reasonable considering the views we got at the top!
