Mt. Fuji

Although it was spring time, there was still quite a bit of snow at our Mt. Fuji hotel. The photo above shows the view of Mt. Fuji that you get from the back of the hotel.

The room and entire hotel was very clean and comfortable, would definitely consider staying at Hotel Mt. Fuji again.

Mt. Fuji Flowers

Here are some pretty flowers I found outside the entrance when I went for a walk with my mom around the hotel.

Owakudani

Owakudani, home of sulfur smells, black eggs, and boiling hot springs. Add if it wasn’t snowing on this day I hear there are some pretty great views from here as well.

Owakudani

We were here for a short stop for lunch on our way to Mt. Fuji. In the main sitdown restaurant we had some pretty good food!

Katsudon

Both the katsudon and tempura were really good.

Yomogi Yakimochi

On our way from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji, we stopped at a highway service area [サービスエリア]. These are great places to grab a bite to eat. Here’s a look at their steaming yomogi yakimochi.

Marunouchi Line

We met our friends living in Tokyo and hopped on the Marunouchi Line toward Ginza and Tsukiji to get some dinner.

Tsukiji Sushiko

We ended up at Tsukiji Sushiko where we had salad, lots of sushi, grilled fish, and just a little beer…
