Here is an evening and early morning view from our room at the Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo on the 25th floor.
The last two times in Tokyo we stayed at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro. That hotel was fine with a big perk being that it was in the Sunshine City shopping complex. But on the other hand it was about a fifteen minute walk to the train station.
While fifteen minutes isn’t all that long, the Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo (also in Ikebukuro) was only about one or two minutes from the station. Also the rooms and beds were a little more modern and clean. I would definitely stay here again for the comfort and convenience!
