For our third trip to Japan, we are spending the winter in Tokyo.

After the hour long ride from the airport (during rush hour), and checking in to our hotel, we went out in search of our first meal of the trip. We ended up at a nearby department store in Ikebukuro and had some curry udon and tempura.

And some regular zaru udon that you dip into broth.

Everything was very satisfying. I especially liked that curry udon that you dip and slurp up!
